High School for Adults

Do you have a plan to resume studies or professional development requiring you to obtain the General French Baccalauréat (BAC) diploma ?

The Lycée d'Adultes is located 132 rue d'Alésia 75014 Paris. It is part of the Paris City Hall municipal courses for adults system. Indeed, it is the only institution that offers adults daytime courses and evening high school courses. The courses are held Monday through Friday from 8 am to 10 pm, and on Saturday mornings from 8 am to 1 pm. Each year, more than 2,000 students benefit from the courses provided by this institution.

The Lycée d'Adultes offers a wide range of courses in the day, with a strong specialisation in French (French as a foreign language, enhanced French courses for French speakers), in languages (English, Spanish) and in computer. The 2 hour courses are given from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

In the evening the Lycée d'Adultes offers fundamental preparation courses for the General French Baccalauréat (BAC) exam which allows to pursue higher studies.

The main asset of the Lycée d'Adultes is its double system which gives students the possibility of accessing additional lessons given during the day, notably in French and in foreign languages. Thus, when they lack language skills (English or Spanish), adults can take language courses during the day in order to complete their high school courses. Foreigners can also enroll in the evening high school program by taking daytime French as foreign language lessons.
